FREE YOGA WITH ADRIENNE

Since COVID I’ve found this amazing young woman to be instrumental in managing my adaptation to on-line class.

I LOVE my daily yoga, and during lockdown I was so pleased to find that Adrienne has been around for a while, and has an array of classes and sessions that suit everyone at any level.

Given that I’m working primarily with many more of you who are trying to navigate LIFE AFTER COVID / JOB LOSS / MID LIFE / RELATIONSHIP CHALLENGES and lastly - HIDDEN TRAUMA, I feel that it is my duty as a way-shower to SHOW YOU WHERE TO FIND THESE FREE TOOLS.

Today I met an incredible woman who, even though we are of the same age (late 50’s) and have had similar challenges, she has NEVER slowed down nor looked at yoga as part of her healing tool kit. And that’s ok. Today is the day she begins an exciting NEW way of taking care of herself.

Back in 2012, I finally discovered Dynamic Flow Yoga (whilst already practicing kundalini Yoga by Yogi Bhajan). I found this yoga class to be one of the BEST ways for me to connect with my body. As a person who was controlling her mental and physical fitness regime via the dumb bells at the gym, I finally discovered that BEING PRESENT with my body in a softer style of workout, gave me a more feminine approach to releasing any painful emotions deeply stored.

I recall literally crying through many of the poses which not only challenged my body, but also trained my mind to stay focussed on any remnants of pain that had not yet been fully released (and Zoe at St Leonards was a wonderfully AWARE teacher who could guide us to navigate these feelings).

Stumbling upon YOGA WITH ADRIENNE’s free channel has introduced me to this practical phenomenon in the world of on-line yoga, so I could continue with daily practices at my own pace. This is another reason I’ve loved sharing her work with clients.

In closing, no matter where you go to practice (I’ve remained at home, enjoying Adrienne’s ever changing offerings), the practice itself is a great first step forward in becoming more in tune with your body.
